We are therefore looking to appoint a Senior School Physical Education teacher who will report to the Head of Senior School Sport and Senior School Head. The successful candidate will: Require an appropriate 4-year degree with at least 5 to 10 years’ teaching experience Be registered with SACE Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Have good administrative and computer skills Maintain and encourage a love for physical activity through participation Display characteristics of tenacity, responsibility, organisation, and ethical behaviour •Be reliable and dependable Be enthusiastic about being part of a winning team Be involved in the teaching of Life Orientation, Physical Education, and extramural sport. Have relevant skills to teach in more than one of the following sports: athletics, diving, hockey, netball, soccer, squash, swimming and tennis Be willing to apply for a PDP and transport athletes to venues Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the School Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
