General Assistance within the department Minimum Criteria Required Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification Experience 1-2 Yrs Relevant Working Experience Relevant Job Knowledge Computer literate Key Performance Areas • Package, track and distribute printing requests to relevant areas to ensure adherence to TAT • Report to Management regarding problems experienced with processes and procedural operations and ensure that existing problems are resolved. • Conduct quality control checks on all printed materials to ensure high quality end results • Liaising with external providers regarding ad hoc maintenance on equipment to ensure timeous and regular servicing of equipment to enable the most effective utilisation of resources. • Assist with finishing function, i.e. glue binding, cutting, sorting and distribution of request forms/pads, spiral binding, laminating, packaging of outgoing product to ensure safe delivery. • Telephonic assistance to ensure excellent customer service • Advises and trains new staff on processes and procedures of the Print Room to ensure that new staff has the know-how and ability to perform required tasks. • Conducts housekeeping duties to ensure that a clean and safe working environment is maintained within the department Competencies Ability to use own initiative Ability to work in a pressured environment Accuracy Adherence to company dress code Administrative skills Assertiveness Attention To Detail Communication Customer Orientation Ethical behaviour Interpersonal skills Planning and organising Self-management Stress management Telephone etiquette Time management Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Multi-tasking Special Requirements LANCET
