PART-TIME CRICKET COACHES

Clifton School, the independent school for boys in Durban, offers a traditional education from Grade 00 to Grade 12. It is situated in Morningside in Durban. Clifton School invites applications for the following posts: PART-TIME CRICKET COACHES (Term 4 of 2026 and Term 1 of 2027) The ideal candidates must have the following qualities: Proven experience in coaching cricket; Relevant cricket coaching certification (CSA or equivalent) would be an advantage; Strong understanding of player development, tactics and training methodologies appropriate to schoolboy cricket; Ability to motivate, inspire and connect with young athletes; Ability to umpire and score matches; Willingness to work collaboratively with the coaching staff and mentor athletes to reach their full potential;. Have a passion for coaching and the game. Key responsibilities: Plan, deliver and coach cricket sessions across various age groups Promote teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship Develop individual and team skills, from beginner to advanced levels Support the School’s sports strategy and performance goals Mentor students to achieve both personal and team excellence A detailed resume, along with a covering letter and the contact details of three referees, should be emailed to joinclifton@cliftonschool.co.za .
