Grade 12/Standard 10 Technical qualification (Essential/Minimum) N2 Relevant Trade Subjects (Essential/Minimum) Certified Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (MQA/QCTO) (Essential/Minimum) 2-3 years relevant experience in fitting, servicing, maintenance, and overhauling of passenger and heavy vehicles, as well as primary and secondary equipment (Essential/Minimum) Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) Competence in Core MQA Modules Assessments (Essential/Minimum) Competence in On the Job MQA Modules Assessments (Essential/Minimum) Pub Driv Lic: Code B (Recommended/Desirable) Pub Driv Lic: Code C (Recommended/Desirable) Pub Driv Lic: Code EC (Recommended/Desirable) Pub Driv Lic: Code EC1 (Recommended/Desirable) Ability to perform inspections and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and auto electrical systems according to specifications and schedules Strong adherence to health and safety practices, including hazard identification and risk assessments Demonstrated ability to manage license renewals and maintain accurate inventory records (if applicable) Effective communication skills and willingness to transfer knowledge and mentor trainees Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and teamwork within a dynamic and inclusive work environment
