Coordinator of Leadership Development and Student Growth Stanford Lake College, a leading independent co-educational Christian boarding school, invites applications for an experienced and dynamic Coordinator of Leadership Development and Student Growth. We are seeking an exceptional educator and mentor to join our team as Coordinator of Leadership Development & Student Growth. This strategic role combines the teaching of Life Orientation with the Leadership and Continued Development of the College’s Leadership Development Programme. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the character, wellbeing and leadership journey of every learner. Position Commencement : January 2027 (negotiable) Reporting Line : Deputy Headmaster (Pastoral Care, Discipline and School Culture) and Deputy Headmistress (Academic) Employment Type : Full-time Requirements Relevant teaching qualification and current SACE registration. Teaching experience within the IEB curriculum. The ability to teach subjects in addition to Life Orientation will be advantageous. Demonstrated experience in student leadership, mentoring, tutoring, coaching or learner development. Previous management or programme leadership experience will be advantageous. Previous experience in a boarding school environment will be advantageous. Active involvement in co-curricular activities, including the ability to coach or support sport, will be advantageous. Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills. A willingness to participate fully in boarding duties and the broader co-curricular life of the College. Experience in outdoor education, experiential learning or leadership programmes will be advantageous. A commitment to lifelong learning, with a willingness to continually learn, reflect and grow both personally and professionally. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the College’s Leadership Development Programme, including student leadership, workshops, retreats, service-learning and experiential learning. Coordinate and deliver Life Orientation in accordance with the IEB curriculum, incorporating leadership, character, wellbeing, citizenship and personal development. Mentor and support learners, particularly student leaders, promoting resilience, accountability, personal growth and servant leadership. Coordinate student development initiatives and contribute to the ongoing growth of the College’s leadership and pastoral programmes. Participate actively in boarding, sport, cultural activities, outdoor education, camps, tours and community engagement. Collaborate with academic, boarding and pastoral staff to promote a consistent approach to learner development and the College’s values.
