Key performance areas Work closely with the phase and class teachers to support the effective running of the phase and grade.​ Help create and maintain a positive, structured and educational classroom atmosphere that supports teaching and learning.​ Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities under the guidance of the teacher.​ Support the management of learner behaviour in line with school policies and classroom routines.​ Take responsibility for the proper use, care and safekeeping of school equipment, resources and stock assigned to the class and teacher.​ Assist with the organisation, supervision and promotion of sport and cultural activities within the school.​ Support teachers and the school with sport, co-curricular and administrative duties as and when required.​ Provide general classroom and administrative support, including preparation of materials, basic record keeping and communication with learners where appropriate. Qualifications, experience and skills Studying towards a BEd foundation phase Relevant experience in a similar position 1 to 3 years experience A clear criminal record Closing date: 25 September 2026.
