St Francis College, Benoni Afrikaans Teacher (High School) An independent Grade R-12 school in Benoni, and a ThriveEd Learning Community. We are looking for an Afrikaans teacher to join our High School from 1 January 2027, teaching Afrikaans First Additional Language. St Francis College is an independent, UMALUSI-accredited school in Benoni, Gauteng, founded in 1989. It offers one continuous journey from Grade R through to Matric across a Preparatory School (Grade R-6) and a High School (Grade 7-12), on a single campus. It is one of 10 ThriveEd schools across five provinces, with an 11th opening in 2027. The school was founded to create a safe space for children and takes its name from the Prayer of St Francis of Assisi. You will need a relevant teaching qualification, a full and active SACE registration, and experience teaching Afrikaans First Additional Language against the CAPS curriculum. Experience taking a class through to Matric, and involvement in the co-curricular life of a school, count in your favour.
